I finally got a label!

I've never been someone who has been "labeled" as anything in my entire life (well, other than "the Michael Jackson freak"). I've always tried to accomplish things that would help me get my name out there so people could actually associate me with something, but I've always fallen just a little short.

Here's a few examples:

- 2nd place person in the geography bee contest in 6th grade. The winner got to go on and compete against winners in other area schools and yadda yadda yadda. My school made a big deal about it, trust me. Some stupid boy won by pure luck.

- runner up for homecoming queen. This was a dream I thought someone like me would never achieve, and I got so damn close! But of course, the popular girl won. (Later I heard her say "God, I didn't even want to be homecoming queen, but all my friends nominated me).

- 2nd runner up in that crazy BBQ pageant. Apparently I hadn't had enough car wrecks to win. Oh well.

- Even though I had 35% more lines than Ellie May (yes, I did the math), I was not considered a "main character" in the Beverly Hillbillies play we did my senior year of HS. In fact, I had to run out THIRD to last during the curtain call!

- I have basically been a "co-editor" or "general staff" for every publication I've ever worked on. I don't think I'll ever get the coveted "editor-in-chief" position in my life.

Ok, so enough about the titles I have been denied. Because all of that has changed now. As of today, I have finally been given a title that should stick with me for quite some time. So in case you don't know yet, I am the new OFFICIAL Kennedy Bookstore Website Textbook spokesmodel!

I am totally being sarcastic by the way. I feel like a huge nerd :(
